Portfolio

Your financial instruments portfolio, which includes cash deposits and various financial assets, exceeds EUR 500,000.

What should you consider before applying for professional status?

Investor Compensation Fund (ICF) Exclusion

Professional Clients are not eligible for coverage under the Investor Compensation Fund (ICF), which may provide compensation in certain circumstances.

Assumed Experience Level

Bexsero Capital may presume a sufficient level of trading experience when assessing the suitability of products and services for Professional Clients. Consequently, communications may utilize more advanced language compared to interactions with Retail Clients.

Leverage Flexibility

Retail clients are subject to specific leverage limits when opening CFD positions, which vary based on the volatility of the underlying asset. These limits are designed to provide enhanced protection and are set as follows:

  • 30:1 for major currency pairs
  • 20:1 for non-major currency pairs, gold, and major equity indices
  • 10:1 for commodities other than gold and for non-major equity indices
  • 5:1for individual equities and other underlying assets
In contrast, Professional Clients are exempt from these limitations, allowing them to employ more flexible and tailored trading strategies. However, it remains essential to note that higher leverage significantly increases both potential gains and potential losses.

Reduced Risk Warnings

Professional Clients are not bound by standard risk warnings and regulations designed to protect Retail Clients, offering greater autonomy but also necessitating a heightened awareness of associated risks.
